Penton Park Wedding Photography – Cristina & Pat’s Wedding

Penton Park Wedding Photography Sit back and enjoy Cristina & Pat’s stunning wedding by Penton Park Wedding Photographer Paul Tansley. Whenever I meet couples before their wedding day, the one piece of advice I always give them on how to improve their wedding pictures is to be in the moment. Far too many couples spend…

It’s magical… And really incredible work.
    I’m a big fan.
What gear did you use for this? 🙂ReplyCancel

    • Paul TansleySeptember 15, 2017 - 5:54 pm

      Thx Miki. It’s all shot on Canon 5D4’s using mostly Canon 24-70 mk2, 16-35 mk3 (superb lens), 85 1.8 and maybe a couple on the 70-200 2.8

But to be honest, photography is far more than just the gear. It’s about being observant and watching for the moment, plus knowing how to capture that moment. I won’t deny though that the mk4 bodies are superb in low light and grabbing focus. A big improvement over the mk3 version. Everything is daylight apart from the cake and dance shots, which are lit with a small LED panel.ReplyCancel

Froyle Park Wedding Photographer – Annie & Paul’s Wedding

Froyle Park Wedding Photographer Another fabulous wedding at Froyle Park in Hampshire. I love being a Froyle Park wedding photographer, because the venue works so well in images. It’s one of my local venues too, around 15 minutes drive from me, so all in all, it’s one of my favourite venues to work at. This is…

Stylish Village Hall Wedding – Gemma & Joe

Stylish Village Hall Wedding Weddings shouldn’t be about how much money you spend on them, they should be about people, hugs, kisses, love and fun. Even on a low budget, you can have a stylish village hall wedding, even the rain doesn’t have to spoil things. Gemma and Joe’s wedding at Rotherwick Village Hall has to be one…

Tournerbury Wedding Photography – Handfasting Ceremony – Jane & Seb

Tournerbury Wedding Photography Looking back at last year’s weddings, this has to be one of our most memorable. Such a lovely couple, with so much love and joy on their wedding day and all set in an amazing location. It was our first time shooting a wedding at Tournerbury Woods Estate and it started perfectly. A…

    Froyle Park Winter Wedding

Froyle Park Winter Wedding We were very lucky to have Natalie & Chris choose us to shoot their beautiful Froyle Park winter wedding way back in January 2015 before we’d even shot a wedding there. That soon changed over the summer and Froyle Park has become one of our most booked venues. By the time their…

    Rhinefield House Wedding Photographer

Rhinefield House Wedding Photography I felt very privileged to be chosen as Emma & Andy’s Rhinefield House wedding photographer. It was a very small intimate wedding for close friends and family. They booked me for only a few hours coverage with no bridal prep or dancing. So my task was to create a story from the start…

Froyle Park Wedding Photography – Sabrina & Jamal

Froyle Park Wedding Photography Froyle Park was a new venue for us to shoot at this year. It’s another local venue to us on the Surrey/Hampshire border, run by the same folk who run Northbrook Park in Surrey, so we were really happy when Sabrina & Jamal chose us to be their photographers for their big day. We had several weddings…

Frensham Heights Wedding Photography – Rachel & Joe’s Wedding

Frensham Heights Wedding Photography This was our first time shooting a wedding at Frensham Heights in Surrey. It’s one of those venues I’ve always wanted to shoot at as it’s almost on our doorstep, being only a 15 minute drive away. Nestled in the Surrey countryside just 3 miles south of Farnham, it has stunning interiors and some…

Wonderful reportage work – practically at least one smile in every photo, and sometimes dozens! That’s what wedding photography SHOULD be all about!ReplyCancel

Great set of pictures Paul. I love the tones in your black and white images. Carol’s picture of Rachel’s mother seeing her in the dress is the winner for me!ReplyCancel

        • PaulJune 24, 2015 - 8:27 am

Cheers Paul. Carol will be very pleased that you liked that shot. I think it’s brilliant. I’m sure if it were possible, she would have tried to get the bride in the picture too, but as we all know that’s not always that easy depending on the room shape etc. However I think it’s very clever how she included the dress picture on the wall, as it totally makes the viewer understand what’s going on.ReplyCancel

Beaulieu Domus Wedding Photography – Nat & James

The 800 year old Abbey at Beaulieu, in Hampshire, was formed by the Cistercian Monks from France. It was later destroyed by Henry VIII, during his Dissolution of the Monastaries. Luckily for all of us, two of the buildings survived, the Monk’s Refectory, which is now the Parish Church of Beaulieu and the Monks Dormitory – known…

Cain Manor Wedding Photographer – Karoliina & Rafal Wedding

Cain Manor Wedding Photographer Cain Manor is Stylish Wedding Photography’s closest wedding venue. At approximately 0.7 miles from our front door, I think we can easily lay claim to being Cain Manor’s nearest wedding photographer. It was therefore a great pleasure to shoot there last year at Karoliina & Rafal’s wedding.  The day started with bridal…
