It’s magical… And really incredible work.
    I’m a big fan.
What gear did you use for this? 🙂ReplyCancel

    • Paul TansleySeptember 15, 2017 - 5:54 pm

      Thx Miki. It’s all shot on Canon 5D4’s using mostly Canon 24-70 mk2, 16-35 mk3 (superb lens), 85 1.8 and maybe a couple on the 70-200 2.8

But to be honest, photography is far more than just the gear. It’s about being observant and watching for the moment, plus knowing how to capture that moment. I won’t deny though that the mk4 bodies are superb in low light and grabbing focus. A big improvement over the mk3 version. Everything is daylight apart from the cake and dance shots, which are lit with a small LED panel.ReplyCancel

Even on a low budget, you can have a stylish village hall wedding, even the rain doesn’t have to spoil things. Gemma and Joe’s wedding at Rotherwick Village Hall has to be one…

Froyle Park Wedding Photography Froyle Park was a new venue for us to shoot at this year. Great set of pictures Paul. I love the tones in your black and white images. Carol’s picture of Rachel’s mother seeing her in the dress is the winner for me!ReplyCancel

    • PaulJune 24, 2015 - 8:27 am

Cheers Paul. Carol will be very pleased that you liked that shot. I think it’s brilliant. I’m sure if it were possible, she would have tried to get the bride in the picture too, but as we all know that’s not always that easy depending on the room shape etc. However I think it’s very clever how she included the dress picture on the wall, as it totally makes the viewer understand what’s going on.ReplyCancel

Beaulieu Domus Wedding Photography – Nat & James

The 800 year old Abbey at Beaulieu, in Hampshire, was formed by the Cistercian Monks from France. It was later destroyed by Henry VIII, during his Dissolution of the Monastaries. Luckily for all of us, two of the buildings survived, the Monk’s Refectory, which is now the Parish Church of Beaulieu and the Monks Dormitory – known…
